Quiet Meadow Simple Die-Cut Project

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a card created from Quiet Meadow + coordinating Meadow Dies with Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper and colors.

These type of cards look a bit more busy, but are actually the most simplest to create despite the amount of techniques employed that are also simple.

I mixed Crumb Cake and Granite Gray with Basic White Regular + my pop color of Petal Pink.

As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.

I started out with a Gray Granite A2 card base.

I layered on a piece of Basic White Regular CS with liquid adhesive that I cut to the measurements below.

I cut my piece of Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper to size and laid that down with liquid adhesive.

I cut 2 of the large flower dies from Meadow from Petal Pink CS and used a Sponge Dauber to color the edges a little with Petal Pink ink.

I stamped the sentiment from Quiet Meadow onto a piece of Petal Pink CS with Memento Tuxedo Black and cut that from the coordinating sentiment tag die. I also sponged the edges of the sentiment tag.

I then cut my long Rectangle Stitched Die from Basic White CS.

I wanted to bring in a little more Granite Gray and did so by using the text stamp in Quiet Meadow that I stamped off several times with Granite Gray ink and stamped onto the DSP x3, as shown above.

This is such a subtle effect, but it was really needed. Most of the time, it’s the little things that make the biggest difference. As I was pulling all of this together, there was such a tremendous difference without taking this one step.

It’s okay to add more design to your designer series paper.

For final assembly, I added Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the large flower and small bud on the right die-cut and adhered the rest with liquid adhesive, as with the left die-cut.

The Basic White Regular rectangle was adhered to the image panel with liquid adhesive.

Stampin’ Dimensionals were added to the back of the sentiment tag and adhered as shown.

I tied a bow from Linen Thread and tucked it under the left corner of the sentiment.

Two large and 3 small Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels were scattered about the card.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
