Die-cutting Designer Series Paper ~ Pansy Petals Suite Collection

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for another project created from the Pansy Petals Suite Collection.

This card is all die-cutting from the designer series paper. Only the sentiments were stamped. With this ability to use the coordinating die-cuts and DSP together, it affords you endless creative opportunities, and a card you can create in less than 10 minutes.

I started out with a top-folding A2 landscape card base in Blackberry Bliss and then cut another piece of Blackberry Bliss CS to layer on the DSP for full coverage of the card base. I wrapped a piece of Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon around the center of the DSP panel to cover where the DSP meets. This panel was adhered to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut the largest scallop Layering Circle die from Pattern Party DSP and adhered a Square Vellum Doily to the back of the scallop circle, and then adhered this to the center of the DSP panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I then went about die-cutting my pansies and leaves from the DSP. I arranged them on top of the scallop circle and adhered them with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I heat embossed the sentiment onto Basic Black CS with white powder and die-cut from the smallest horizontal Stitched Rectangle die then adhered it under the pansies and leaves with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A small Brushed Brass Butterfly was adhered to the scallop circle above the sentiment.

For the inside of the card, I layered on a piece of scrap DSP to the bottom of the Basic White Regular CS with Seal and then cut with the largest Stitched Rectangle Die. I stamped the sentiment at the top middle with Blackberry Bliss ink and added 2 butterflies to embellish, then adhered to the card base with Seal.
