Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a project created with Still Scenes, Snow Globe Scenes Dies, Majestic Mountain Dies, and Tasteful Touches stamp set for a clean and simple masculine card.
Masculine cards are often difficult to create for many. I’ve found that the cleaner I keep it, the more successful I am. I have no need for masculine cards, but every now and then, one just happens.
The Snow Globe Scenes Dies also coordinate perfectly with the Zoo Globe (153303) stamp set on page 54 of the Annual Catalog.
I started out with a rarely used Merry Merlot, which is a beautifully deep raisin/wine color, A2 top-folding 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 card base and layered on a piece of Regular Very Vanilla CS die-cut with the largest Stitched Rectangle die with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals. I die-cut 2 of the stand-alone tree dies from Majestic Mountain with Mossy Meadow CS. The Merry Merlot bear was die-cut from Snow Globe Scenes, which has been terribly neglected since it came out 1-1/2 years ago. There are fabulous stand-alone dies in Snow Globe Scenes that really would have been useful this holiday season to me in my designs, had I paid more attention to the Still Scenes stamp set & Snow Globe Scenes coordinating dies. They are fabulous and are available in the current Annual Idea Book & Catalog. The outside and inside sentiments are from Tasteful Touches stamp set.
This project was very easy to put together. A piece of 2-1/2 x 1 Mossy Meadow CS was banner punched to mat the sentiment, which was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black onto a piece of Regular Very Vanilla CS measuring 2-1/2 x 3/4″. The banner mat was adhered to the image panel with our liquid adhesive with the sentiment adhered with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals. The Merry Merlot bear was adhered with liquid adhesive as were the Majestic Mountain trees; however, half of a Mini Black Stampin’ Dimensional was used at the top for dimension.
I adhered a Mini Glue Dot to the bottom of the tree on the right and tied 2 lengths of Linen Thread into a bow and adhered to the glue dot.
