Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Let’s Craft & Create Challenge #208 where anything goes with an option and for this month, it’s to use ribbon, and hope that you join us.
For today’s project, I’m using the Cutest Cows Bundle. This is such an easy card to make. I kept it monochromatic with a lot of texture and dimension. The Nested Essentials Dies and the Basic Essential Embossing Folder is part of our Online Exclusives.
As always, project specific supplies with basic supplies are below. Several products that I used might be retired, on clearance, or has moved over to Online Exclusives. Other products can easily be substituted.
I cut my Pecan Pie CS base to an A2 landscape, cut another piece of Pecan Pie CS, embossed it, and adhered this to the card base with liquid adhesive.
I then cut my Very Vanilla CS and Glorious Gingham DSP to size then adhered the DSP to the Very Vanila CS with liquid adhesive.
I cut another piece of Very Vanilla CS from the largest stitched banner die from Nested Essentials and stamped the sentiment at the top left with Memento Tuxedo Black ink from Cutest Cows.
I then stamped the cow body and head onto Basic White Thick CS using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored in the cow hooves with a Light Basic Black Stampin’ Blends Marker, the body with Pecan Pie Blends, with the mug colored in Ivory.
I then punched out the cow body and head adhering the body to the banner with liquid adhesive and the head with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
For final assembly, I tied my gingham ribbon around the first panel that was bowed to the left and adhered to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The image and sentiment panel was adhered atop of the ribbon panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Lastly, three Pecan Pie Opaque Faceted Gems were used to embellish.
