Key to My Heart Paper Pumpkin January 2023 | Heart Boxes Add-On | Alternatives + Resources

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for projects created from the January 2023 Paper Pumpkin Kit, Key to My Heart.

I have created 3 alternative projects for you with one of them from the Heart Boxes Add-On and 2 cards. The cute little box is perfect for Dove Chocolates and jewelry.

These are the kit cards.

The alternative projects were all very easy to create using basic minimal supplies.

As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.

I left three important Supplies out of Petal Pink CS, Fresh Freesia CS, and Country Floral Lane DSP.

For the Fresh Freesia card, I started out with an A2 top-folding 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 Fresh Freesia card base. I cut a piece of Basic White Regular CS to 3-3/4 x 5-1/2 and a piece of Fresh Freesia plaid 2021-2023 In Color 6 x 6 DSP to 3-1/2 x 5-1/2 and adhered them both to the card base with Seal Adhesive.

I cut the largest round top Tailor Made Tag from Basic White Regular CS and stamped the lock image from Key to My Heart stamp set with Fresh Freesia ink onto Basic White Regular CS then punched the image out with a 1-1/2″ Circle Punch.

I stamped the sentiment at the bottom of the tag in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, placed Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back and adhered it to the center of the card. I tied my ribbon into a bow and adhered it to the top of the tag with a Mini Glue Dot.

Stampin’ Dimensionals were added to the back of the image circle and adhered to the tag.

I removed the gold sticker key from the kit and used my Embossing Buddy to remove the stickiness. The key was adhered to the tag and card base with a combination of Tombo Mono and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A little gold flower trinket was adhered to the bottom of the key with an iridescent jewel in the center.

Two more jewels were adhered to the card base.

For the Petal Pink card, the card base has the same measurements as above. I layered on the Petal Pink/White heart pattern from Country Floral Lane DSP cut to 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 atop of the card base with Seal Adhesive.

I cut a piece of Basic White Regular CS to 3-1/2 x 5 and another piece of Petal Pink/White heart pattern from Country Floral Lane DSP cut to 3-1/4 x 4-3/4 that was adhered to the Basic White Regular CS with Seal Adhesive.

I tied Sweet Sorbet Metallic Ribbon around the center of this panel and bowed it at the left.

The sentiments from Key to My Heart Paper Pumpkin Kit were stamped onto a piece of Basic White Regular CS in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and Sweet Sorbet ink and punched out with the Heart Punch.

A scallop heart was punched from Basic Vellum Designs. Liquid adhesive was used to adhere the sentiment heart to the vellum heart. Stampin’ Dimensionals were adhered to the back of the hearts and adhered to the card.

Two large 2021-2023 In Color Sweet Sorbet Matte Decorative Dots were adhered to the sentiment.

For the adorable Heart Box Add-On, I assembled the box that already has adhesive on it. I tied ribbon around the center of the box and bowed it at the left. I punched two more hearts from Basic Vellum and Fresh Freesia Shimmer Paper. I adhered the Fresh Freesia heart to the vellum with liquid adhesive and adhered the hearts to the heart box with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment onto a sticky banner from the Paper Pumpkin Kit with Fresh Freesia ink and adhered it atop of the hearts, as was a sticky key to the sentiment banner.

Lastly, I tied a piece of Calypso Coral twine from the kit into a bow and adhered it to the top of the key with a Mini Glue Dot. Two flower embellishments were adhered to the sentiment banner and vellum heart.
