Bottled Happiness + Sun Prints Christmas Card

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a Christmas card created using products from the new Annual Catalog.

I know … it’s barely June. After the past 6 weeks of rain with more forecasted over the next 10 days, it’s depressing.

I love the ability of our products with their coordination. There’s a lovely new coordinating stamp set in the Holiday Catalog that you can use the Vintage Bottle Punch with.

I used returning and new In Colors on this card. Sweet Sorbet is a fabulous red and is right up there with my favorite Poppy Parade.

For the sentiment, I did some partial die-cutting from the largest flagged banner in Stylish Shapes to customize.

I will be offering a comprehensive Cards to Go Class featuring the Bottled Happiness Bundle and the new holiday Vintage Christmas stamp set with the coordinating Vintage Bottle Punch. The creative possibilities are absolutely endless.

If you ever want Christmas ideas, you can search Christmas or Handmade Holidays from my right sidebar.

As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.

I started out with an A2 card base in Basic White Thick CS. The DSP was cut to the measurements below and adhered to the card base with liquid adhesive.

The large bottle was stamped in Soft Succulent with the partial outline in Evening Evergreen onto Basic White Regular CS and then punched out from the Vintage Bottle Punch.

The small bottle was stamped in Sweet Sorbet and fussy cut with Paper Snips.

The right floral image that was inserted into the Sweet Sorbet bottle was stamped in Soft Succulent from Nature’s Print, which is part of the Sun Prints Suite Collection, as was the florals tucked into the larger left side bottle. These images were colored in using Stampin’ Write Markers in Sweet Sorbet, Soft Succulent, and Evening Evergreen, then cut from it’s coordinating Natural Prints Dies.

I stamped the sentiment from Inspired Thoughts, which is a go-to all-inclusive sentiment stamp set, onto Basic White CS with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I cut the sentiment from the largest banner die from Stylish Shapes. The cut was realigned inside the die where I wanted the top cut to customize the size of my banner and to achieve the stitched element at the top.

For final assembly, the bottles and florals were adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stapled the top of the banner sentiment and added a small piece of Tear & Tape at the top of the banner. A Stampin’ Dimensional was added at the bottom and then adhered to the top right of the card.

I tied a small bow using our Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon and adhered it to the small bottle with a Mini Glue Dot.

One large and 2 small Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels were scattered about the card.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
