Global Design Project #405 | Color Challenge

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Global Design Project #405, where there is a color challenge, and this one is a challenge.

My greenery is green and this is due to mixing Boho Blue and Wild Wheat re-inkers together to create green from blue and yellow, so I’m within the boundaries of the color challenge.

I would also like to thank the Global Design Project Team for choosing my #404 challenge card as a Special Mention.

As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.

The first thing I did was to cut my Pebbled Path CS base to size. I then cut a piece of Basic White Regular CS to size and took 2 sentiments from the Biggest Wish stamp set, each mounted on a Clear Box. I alternated stamping ‘hello’ and ‘friend’ in Pebbled Path ink onto the image panel at an angle. I then adhered the panel to the card base with Seal Adhesive.

I then die-cut every single Paper Florist Die-Cut out of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, grabbed my ink refills and Watercolor Painters, and went to work.

The greenery was created out of mixing Boho Blue and Wild Wheat inks together. Blue and yellow = green, so I completely took advantage of this.

The large flowers were watercolored in Boho Blue with the stamens and tulips colored in Watercolor Wheat.

After I dried all of my images, I adhered the tulip tops to their stem with liquid adhesive as well as the stamens. I used Mini Glue Dots to adhere the large flower together.

I spread out my images on the card for placement and lightly marked a spot in the lower right to place a super small piece of Tear & Tape directly onto the image panel to create my thread nest out from black thread.

For final assembly, I adhered the large flower to the image panel with a Stampin’ Dimensional and adhered the rest of the flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The greenery was adhered with liquid adhesive at the bottom and Stampin’ Dimensionals at the top.

Five silver Festive Pearls were used to embellish.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
