MTCC #61: Color Challenge with Gingham Cottage Suite Collection + Scary Cute Bundle

Hello there! My Little Princess, Bailey Nicole Coutts, is 24 today! Happy Birthday, Bay!

Thank you for joining me today for another project created with the Gingham Cottage Suite Collection and Scary Cute Bundle for a scary cute Halloween card for Make the Cards Challenge #61. We have a color challenge for you today and hope that you join us.

I interpreted these colors as Sweet Sorbet, Pumpkin Pie, and Mint Macaron. Shaded Spruce would also be an option for Mint Macaron.

I kept this card clean and simple.

I started out with an A2 Basic White Thick CS base and layered on the Basic Black and Mint Macaron mats with liquid adhesive.

I cut the image panel to size and stamped on the bare wreath from Cottage Wreaths in Memento Tuxedo Black.

I stamped the bats around the wreath in Sweet Sorbet, Pumpkin Pie, and Mint Macaron.

Three spiders from Cottage Wreaths were also stamped in the above colors then cut from its coordinating Country Wreaths Dies, all from the Gingham Cottage Suite Collection.

The spiders were adhered with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals next to the same color trio of bats.

I stamped the sentiment from the Scary Cute stamp set onto Basic Black CS, after I prepped the CS with our Embossy Buddy. The sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink, which was accidentally omitted from the Supply List, and heat embossed with white powder.

I trimmed the sentiment to size and inserted the left end into the Banners Punch to cut. On the right of the sentiment, I tied a piece of Whisper White Baker’s Twine into a bow.

The sentiment was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For final assembly, I adhered the image panel to the card with liquid adhesive and scattered about 5 silver Festive Pearls from the Lights Aglow Suite Collection in the Holiday Catalog.
