Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a housewarming card that I made for my youngest son to celebrate the purchase of his first house at 24! He just turned 25 a month ago, but I’m still very proud of him. His new car is a Pacific Point color.
This card might seem a bit girly with the florals and colors, but Moose is more of one to appreciate the overall design. He’s always loved gold and yellow, so I brought them both on board, along with other cheerful colors.
I created the playful paper birdhouses with 2 die-cuts and my Paper Trimmer. The square was die-cut from the smallest Stitched Shaped square 2x from a double-sided piece of designer series paper found in the Flowers For Every Season Suite Collection. I then cut a 3rd square and trimmed it in exactly half with my Paper Trimmer. The heart die-cut is from Birds & More, which I placed in the center of the squares and die-cut.
The houses are on Stampin’ Dimensionals with Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack with the gold twine. I used 2 large Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to secure the twine to the stamped Mint Macaroon image from Forever Fern. The card base is Pool Party and the sentiment from the April 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit, My Wonderful Family, was stamped in Magenta Madness off to the right. The inside Congratulations sentiment is also from a Paper Pumpkin Kit of Something For Everything, December 2019. I can’t tell you how much I use these kits throughout the year.
