Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a Fireside Trimmings Concept Art Card. I introduced this bundle to you in this video.
I love this striking monochromatic card with a few pops of color and colored pencils blended out. The line art images really makes this a versatile bundle for all seasons.
I started with a landscape top-folding A2 card base at 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 in Bumblebee CS. I cut of piece of the Bumblebee DSP from Plaid Tidings to 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 and adhered it down to the card front. I then die-cut another piece of Bumblebee CS to 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 and used the 2nd largest die from Stitched Rectangles to make the stitched window die and adhered that down with liquid adhesive at the very outer edges so I could tuck in the fireplace and logs with Seal+ with the pumpkin, vase, fireplace mantel clock, and picture on the right with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
All of the images were colored in with Watercolor Pencils using a Blender Pen to pull out the color. The clock is Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry. The leaves are Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie. The logs are Early Espresso and the pumpkins are Pumpkin Pie. I very lightly shaded in the edges of the fireplace with Basic Gray.
No matter your skill level, concept art projects are so easy to make with looking at the catalog images and then recreating them yourself with your own personal touch.
