Frightfully Cute Bundle Die-Cut Inlay Technique Card

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a die-cut inlay technique card created with the Frightfully Cute

I also incorporated the Playful Alphabet Dies and Ornate Frames Dies to make this adorable Halloween card for you.

As always, your Supplies and Instructions are listed below.

I started out with an A2 Gorgeous Grape card base and cut my Basic White Regular CS. I stamped the large snow line from Penguin Place at the top of the image panel with Gorgeous Grape ink x4 at 1/4″ intervals, using my Stamparatus for perfect placement.

I cut one of the small frames from Ornate Frames x3 from Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green, and Highland Heather CS. From Playful Alphabet, I centered and cut ‘B’ into the Pumpkin Pie frame and cut the letter again from Granny Apple Green. I centered and cut the ‘O’ into the Granny Apple Green and Highland Heather frames and cut the letter again from Pumpkin Pie. Make sure that you keep the fallout pieces from the letter dies. You will need these for the inlay technique.

The witch hat was die-cut with our Black Glimmer Paper from Frightful Tags.

I placed the die-cut Ornate Frames centered on the image panel and inserted the same color letters without the fallout die-cut pieces. I added a tiny bit of liquid adhesive to the back of the inlays and placed in the center of the letters with my tweezers. I stamped the spider image from Frightfully Cute in Memento Tuxedo Black over the ‘O’ and drew the upper part of the line with a Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker.

I then removed the frames and added Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the frames. I adhered the frames directly over the letters and the inlays making sure it was all lined up.

The Black Glimmer witch hat was adhered to the top of the ‘B’ with 3 silver Cute Stars Adhesive-Backed Sequins scattered about the card front.
