Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a birthday window card created with Timeless Tropical + In The Tropics Dies and the Nothing’s Better Than Bundle. I have been making a lot of various window cards lately, for no particular reason.
As always, your Supplies and Instructions, including the measurements, are below.
I started out with a Pool Party card base and center window cut a piece of Basic White CS with one of our Stitched Rectangle Dies. I ran the window mat through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine in the Painted Texture 3D EF. I then stamped my sentiments from Nothing’s Better Than at the top right and bottom left in Memento Tuxedo Black. Do not adhere the window mat to the card base right now.
Then, I started stamping away the images using Granny Apple Green for the palms and leaves, Polished Pink and Daffodil Delight for the flowers, and Soft Suede for the tree trunks. I then cut all of the images out from their coordinating dies.
I stamped the cocktail in Pool Party onto a piece of Basic White Thick and left the image on the lid of my Stamparatus. I colored in a Blue Hawaiian type cocktail with Light Bermuda Bay, Dark Pool Party, and Light Pool Party. The fruit was stamped in with Flirty Flamingo and the umbrella in Pumpkin Pie.
I inserted the cocktail image back into the Stamparatus and re-stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black, then cut from its coordinating die.
Now to the assembly part … I first tucked away a set of the palm trees partially behind the upper right of the Basic White frame mat to line up and adhered with liquid adhesive. I used Seal to adhere the frame to the Pool Party card base. The second set of palms were adhered to the center left of the frame with liquid adhesive. The Daffodil Delight flower was adhered to the top left with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals with a Black Matte Dot in the center.
The leaves were adhered at the bottom of the window with liquid adhesive and a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional at the tip of the leaves for dimension.
The Polished Pink flower was adhered with liquid adhesive with a Black Matte Dot in the center.
The cocktail was adhered with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I cut a piece of Bermuda Bay CS and stamped the sentiment on with Memento Tuxedo Black. I used the Banner punch on the ends and scored 1/4″ at each end from the corner of the banner and then folded it back on itself as shown above. I had to double up the Stampin’ Dimensionals directly behind the sentiment and used Seal to secure down the ends of the banner.
