Today’s card features watercoloring with ink pads. I dropped in various shades of green and purples for my flowers. A complete Product List is below under Supplies. I let my images dry naturally. In my experience, the colors remain much more vivid if you do not use your heat tool to speed up the drying process. The colors are extremely easy to move around and play nicely together. I accented the leaves and petals with a white gel pen.
A Coastal Cabana Doily was used to frame my sentiment stamped in Versamark onto Basic Black Card Stock and dry heat embossed with white powder.
I eased the transition from the sentiment strip to flow into the rest of the card with Lemon Lime Twist 1/4″ Ombre Ribbon.
Coastal Cabana Card Stock was used to mat the image panel and then adhered to a Rich Razzleberry card base. The flower stamens were colored with Crushed Curry. Frosted Epoxy Dots were used as tiny embellishments.
