Beautiful Friendship is a new DistINKtive 13-piece photopolymer stamp set that coordinates beautifully with the rest of the DistINKtive line of images.
These stamps are designed to lay down the color in varying hues by design texture on the stamps. If you’ve always wanted a cheat to no-line watercoloring, this is it. The project instructions are below.

- Cut a piece of Grapefruit Grove CS to 4-1/4″ x 8-1/2″, score at the 5-1/2″ mark, and fold in half at the score line. Use your Bone Folder for crisp crease.
- Ink up Birch Background stamp with Grapefruit Grove ink, place card on top to imprint. Using a piece of copy paper to rub image over the CS helps with a good impression and keeping your hands clean. Using the Stamparatus is always an option, but I find this method easier.
- Cut a piece of 4-1/4″ x 3-1/4″ Very Vanilla CS. On your Stamparatus door, ink up the large rose image from Beautiful Friendship in Grapefruit Grove and stamp towards the left of the image panel.
- Using both leaf images from Beautiful Friendship, stamp around rose in Shaded Spruce.
- When using Lovely Lipstick on the outside of this card project, you will want to stamp off once. Stamp the large and small stamen image inside of the rose.
- Stamp the snapdragon image to the right of the card twice.
- Stamp sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black bottom right.
- Die-cut a scallop stitched edge from Stitched Be Mine from Crumb Cake CS that is 4-1/4″ in length and adhere under the image panel.
- Wrap a length of Linen Thread around the seam of the Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake CS, and tie into a bow towards the left. Adhere Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the image panel, remove adhesive backing, and position on card base.
- Place 3 Gold Metallic Pearls in a visual triangle around the card.
