SUOC #337 | Masculine Cards

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge #337 where we have a masculine theme and hope that you join us.

I know a lot of you struggle with masculine cards and don’t. Keep it clean and simple, like I did with today’s card, that took only a few minutes with minimal stamping. This would be a great sketch to easily mass produce cards, too.

I brought in the Beary Cute Bundle with our new perfectly masculine Tartan Foil Online Exclusive Specialty Designer Series Paper along with A Walk in The Forest Designer Series Paper. Neutral colors work well with masculine cards and today’s colors are Pecan Pie and Pebbled Path with Very Vanilla.

The patterns, die-cut edge, and punched sentiment really work well together.

I started out with my Pebbled Path card base and cut my Very Vanilla mat to size, as well as the Tartan Foil Specialty Designer Series Paper in Pebbled Path. I ran this through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the notebook edge die from Gorgeously Made.

I adhered the DSP to the Very Vanilla CS with Seal and then adhered this panel to the card base with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I took the Beary Cute Punch to the A Walk in The Forest Designer Series Paper to punch out the bear from the DSP. I punched another bear from Very Vanilla CS and adhered the DSP to the CS with liquid adhesive. This is something you don’t have to do with our DSP. I just prefer the extra stability. I then adhered the bear to the DSP with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment onto Very Vanilla Regular CS with Pecan Pie ink then cut to size and punched the ends. This was adhered to under the bear with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Lastly, I colored in a medium Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewel with the Dark Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends Marker and placed this between the sentiment and bear.
