Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for another project with the fabulous Expressions in Ink Suite Collection and Create With Friends. The stamp set from the suite collection is Artistically Inked.
I’ve been a bit attached to the Expressions in Ink Suite Collection, Create With Friends + a lot of black and white DSP lately. Today, I’m bringing in the 2-layer Amazing Thanks Dies. These dies are new in the Spring Catalog and I really hope they are carried over. I also made a thread nest from gold sewing thread that I had in my stash.
I wanted to keep this simple with a clustered focal point.

I started out with an A2 Basic Black card base and layered on a piece of black and white DSP from Pattern Party cut on the diagonal that was adhered with Seal.
I stamped the flowers and leaves from Artistically Inked in Calypso Coral, Pumpkin Pie, and Granny Apple Green, then cut all of the images with their coordinating dies. The dot image from Artistically Inked was used as a stamen that was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black.
The ‘Forever’ from Create With Friends was stamped in Versamark Ink onto Basic White CS, heat embossed with gold powder, then the edges were trimmed with my Paper Snips.
I die-cut the solid Amazing from Vellum CS and the inlay from Basic Black CS. This was adhered together with liquid adhesive.
I really wanted to build this card up and arranged all of my pieces toward the bottom right so it all worked out optically and to get a good radius for my gold thread nest, that was laid down first.
I used liquid adhesive to adhere the flowers and leaves as I wanted to then placed Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back and adhered to the card.
The heat embossed sentiment was adhered to the floral collage with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The inlaid sentiment was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals that were adhered behind the overlay to keep hidden.
Lastly, I scattered about 5 Gilded Gems in various sizes around the focal point.
For the inside of the card, I kept it simple and adhered a flower with leaves using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I left the inside blank so I could use this for any occasion.
