We are using the pink Dinoroar card at the bottom of Page 98 in the Annual Catalog for our sketch. I started out with a Pacific Point landscape top-folding A2, cut 4 pieces of product suite DSP to 3/4 x 5-1/4, and eyeballed placement by adhering the top and bottom strips first. Another piece of 2-1/2 x 4-1/4 Pacific Point was cut and dry embossed with the Button Button folder.
I laid out the ribbon spool image onto Thick Whisper White with Memento on the Stamparatus and left the image inside on the door while I colored the spools with Stampin’ Blends in Calypso Coral, Mango Melody, Pool Party, and Smoky Slate. Mango Melody and Pool Party are not colors in the suite, per se, but they were close enough for a near perfect to Crushed Curry and Coastal Cabana. I used the Color Lifter Marker to pull out and muddy up the Smoky Slate, placed the CS with colored image back into the Stamparatus, re-inked and re-stamped, then die-cut the image out. I do this because I like crisp impressions and sometimes adding color to an image will compromise your line art. I tied a piece of Crushed Curry Crinkled Seam Binding (I love this stuff) around the top of the dry embossed panel and adhered a heart charm from the Follow Your Art Embellishment Kit. The Coastal Cabana paper clip is also from the kit. A trio of clear sequins from the Gingham Gala mix helps add balance to the right of the card.
