Hello there! I hope this finds you well. Today I have a darling clean and simple baby card that I made using adorable new products from the annual catalog. There are several bundles and designer series paper focusing on baby. They are all delightfully fun to play with, especially with the new colors on board. I have to admit that this catalog is exceptional with product updates. It really helps jumpstart the mojo.
I easily put together a classic sketch and added subtle bling, texture and dimension. The new baby designer series paper, and we have 2 new stacks, boast a fantastic plethora of color and patterns. I’m looking forward to finding some time to really sit down and share some projects with you. There’s a shift in focus from traditional baby colors to more gender neutral.
When you have a design this clean, try on some embellishments. It’s never a necessity and can sometimes kill your presentation. That’s why I like to go with subtly if I can’t make my mind up. I knew I had to frame up my frame, so to speak; so I stamped the line art image onto Whisper White cardstock and die-cut it out. I then snipped it in half and lined up the banner. A silver thread nest was tucked behind the scallop square and Stampin’ Dimensionals. The always perfect Glitter & Clear Epoxy Shapes added just a bit more sparkle. There’s some metallics going on in this card and it works beautifully with the gentle colors.
For the inside, it’s predictable that I pulled the outside to the inside with colors, fonts and images.
