Good morning friends. It's not quite 7 a.m. in beautiful California and I'm going to scramble to get my Faith on Friday video done that I'm multitasking with my monthly challenge that is the first Saturday of each month.

I would love for you to play in my monthly challenge today! I have a challenge for you the first Saturday of every month. You can enter your project below using the Inlinkz tool. My challenges are new and I would love for you to spread the word about them. I love to give out prizes but I must have at least 25 entries to make this cost effective for me and I know you understand. You have an entire month to complete the challenge that will close on February 1 midnight PST. A new challenge will be posted on Saturday, February 2.

THE CHALLENGE
Make a project for a special girl in your life. This can be your best friend, mother, daughter, whatever is on your heart.

THE PRIZE
1.  An exclusive, demonstrator-only wood mount spring stamp set by Stampin' Up!
2.  Entry into the Season of Love card class.
3.  Recognition of winning the challenge as you will receive a blog badge for that too!

THE RULES
1.  Proudly sport the Cindy Coutts Designs Blog Badge on your blog that can be picked up on the right sidebar. A Cindy Coutts Designs Challenge Blog Badge is available if you would rather have that. I just need to get it uploaded 🙂
2.  May not be combined with more than 3 other challenges.
3.  Direct link your project to the Inlinkz below, not your entire blog.
4.  Prizes that are won by participants outside of the United States will be responsible for their own postage costs.
5.  Have fun and spread the word!

You know the line, I don't know what happened to the time. I spent way too long at the back MD yesterday on a Friday afternoon in the San Francisco Bay Area which means a parking lot on the freeway, so I sat on I-80 Eastbound for hours. Then there was a multi-vehicle wreck in Fairfield on the curve. They managed to move it off to the side but didn't clean the lanes that it happened in, which were the 2 far left lanes, and we all know which lane I was driving in. I haven't mustered up the courage to go out and take a look at my tires yet AND this is after I just replaced an OE tire as the sidewall was punctured while driving on another freeway last month. I am praying there are no more problems like that. OE means original equipment and when you have a new car, you have to go back to the dealer to get the equipment replaced as California State Law imposes a tax on inventory so nobody carries inventory. With that incident alone, my car was in the shop for 5 days — over a tire. Then before I came home, I had to have my mani/pedi. I have a few diva tendencies and that's one of them. So my day was pretty much gone but the time I arrived home last night starving and after all of this work, I wanted to chill so I did. I must sneak out today and get some coffee creamer no matter what and do my best with laundry. I'm a single parent raising 3 teens, 2 of which are getting ready to fly out of the nest, so there's a lot going on.

One thing I wan to give you the heads up on with today's video is that I changed my settings to HD for better sound and graphic quality. If this proves to be a royal pain, I will switch it back and that's the only thing that I can see holding me up today. I will do a test video first so hang in there with me.

Today I am also working with my developers after I do the above and make sure we are good to go. Honestly, they are just waiting on me. I will be emailing those of you who signed up so that you can choose your user name and password. For subsequent classes, you will be able to do this when you signup and the process will be very streamlined.

It is so very important to me that you spread the word about my classes. They are wonderful, quality classes where we will have fun. I received comments on my You Tube that I am "real and make mistakes so I don't feel so bad," and "I love your teaching style and hate perfect videos." If this is you, then my classes are perfect for you. We're all in this together. These classes are my job and put food on the table for the kids, not to mention I love teaching and am quite addicted to this awesome "hobby" that allows you to express yourself in any way you want.

For my video and card today, you know I like to use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps for my Faith on Friday series and my challenge for you will last one month until February 2 (Groundhog Day, of course), when a new challenge is put up and the prize winner will be announced. Please see above for details. Once I get the video done and all of that work that comes along with it, I will edit this post. But, in the meantime, you can play in the challenge yourself and I will have an Inlinkz below for you to link your work.

By the end of this weekend, you can look at my sidebars OR I just might make a separate page so as not to clutter up the blog, where you can pick up blog badges with the code already provided for you and all you have to do is copy and paste to sport a Cindy Coutts Designs Blog Badge.

There's just a few more days for the Season of Love class to start and even when it's over, you can sign up at any time at a discounted price, as you work at you work at your own pace. Sign up below today! Feel free to put my blog badge on your blog as I will be visiting you and you never know when happy mail will show up in your mailbox! Thank you for your support. It means the world to me.

UPDATE: Okay, what an awful day, it is now after 5 p.m. and I've been working solid all day long. I did a video for this but changed my settings to HD which my Windows laptop wouldn't take since I still edit on that as I am Mac challenged and that's putting it mildly. I apologize for not having a video for you today.
