Celebrate You + Memories & More Card Packs = A Very Cool Birthday Card

Hello there! Today I’m mixing and matching the fun Celebrate You stamp set with the new Perfect Days Memories & More scrapbooking product line by Stampin’ Up! If you want easy, no fuss, pre-cut cardstock, then all of the Memories & More Card Packs are just for you. My black and white diagonal striped cardstock came from the above-mentioned Memories & More Card Pack. I absolutely LOVE the new In Color of Lemon Lime Twist with Basic Black accented with silver. It’s not very often where I’ll pat myself on the back over a card, but this one is some good work. I’d love to try all of the In Colors to see how this turns out with the other 2 images in the Celebrate You stamp set. There are no die-cuts, but the images are large enough without a lot of difficult lines to fussy cut.

    1. Each Memories & More Card Pack features 72 double-sided cards in total that entails:

      1. 72 total double-sided cards.
      2. 52 pieces of 3 x 4 cards, 2 each of 26 designs.
      3. 20 pieces of 4 x 6 cards, 2 each of 10 designs.
      4. Cardstock sticker sheets.
      5. Each Memories & More Card Pack has its own exclusive designs and embellishments, such as patterned acetate, wooden embellishments, gold/silver foil die-cuts, foil overlays, and more.

For the $10 price point, you get a ton of stuff that can be incorporated into any project that you make. Y’all know I like to keep embellishments and ribbon that are unique, even though retired, by Stampin’ Up! I’m pretty sure the large silver clip I used on my card is about 8-ish years old and has been through a cross-country move and a few more. Unfortunately, this was my last silver clip, unless I find some more somewhere, which is entirely possible in the state of my craft room. That’s also why you haven’t seen a video tour yet either and I know you have been asking forever. I am so sorry. Before I move, I promise I will get one done, as I’m going to have to clean it up eventually.

I have to tell you that I took about an hour while doing laundry looking for color combinations to come up with something uniquely fun that was bright, but not too in your face, and I wanted happy. Basic Black and Lemon Lime Twist with silver accents completes this card. It just goes and these colors play very well together. This would also be a great masculine card for any age. For color combinations, as nutty as this sounds, it so works; I will dump out my Stampin’ Write Markers and whatever colors are close to each other that I really like, instant color combination, and usually ones that I wouldn’t even think of putting together. Easy cleanup too as I have my markers stored in a cubby by ROYGBIV in 5 slots. I’m also really loving the Fast Fuse adhesive. You know how fussy I am about my adhesive and this stuff is STRONG. I used it on both sides of the black fun foam I have under my Basic Black mat and it didn’t jam up one time.

I hope that you like the card I’ve designed for you today. I really love the way that it turned out. It’s wonderfully clean and simple, yet has that WOW factor that I’m always after, since CAS is pretty much up my game. Don’t forget about all of the Stampin’ Up! Promotions going on right now. I will link the blog posts/graphics below, click on graphic, so you don’t have to go hunting and I don’t have to cut and paste it all. They’re pretty long blog posts with a lot of information and I don’t want to almost force you to wade through the blog post to get to the card. The measurements for this card are below.

Later this week, I plan on totally changing up this card using the same sketch, same stamp set, same everything (sans my last large silver clip that I have on hand and hopefully can hunt one down somewhere), and doing a process video for you. It will blow you away. I’m adding 2 additional embellishments to the card, yet it will look the same.

Thank you so much for stopping by today for a visit. I hope that you had a safe and wonderful 4th of July with your loved ones. God bless.
