PCCCS009, Scary Mummies

Hi friends. Today is another sketch challenge with the Paper Craft Crew! We would love for you to join us. Don't forget about our "grand opening" in about a month with some great prizes and blog candy. Be sure to spread the word and tell all of your friends.

Our sketch for you today is a very easy sketch but it sure does pack a punch. I really enjoyed working with this sketch and since I'm a pokey crafter, it took about 30 or so minutes to make, including the fussy cutting. The Googly Ghouls stamp set would have been a great stamp set to have die-cuts with. After I made the card, I realized that I should have just cut one long strip of Tangerine Tango to 1-3/8 x 5-5/16 and then just punched out my designer series paper with the Postage Stamp punch and adhered them to the strip of card stock.

My card is fairly easy to make too. I'm so glad I was able to squeeze this in with moving and unpacking and setting up the craft room, and my best childhood friend is flying in from Colorado on Friday. It will slow down after the first of the year, promise. I also need to get moving on my kit clubs. I have so many members that trying to get everything cut just perfect has become quite the chore and then I had to find the paper! This is one assignment that you do not give to your kids.

Here is my card that I'd like to share with you and be sure to check out what the design team made to inspire you! I also have given you instructions to make this card too and hope that you enjoy it. May God richly bless you and your day today.

PS: Sorry I only have one picture. I had to take it outside, edit it on this Mac I'm still trying to get used to, can't find my light box, etc., but it's an adorable card in person! Would you like this card? Just leave me a comment and next Wednesday at midnight PST, I'll draw a winner and post it right here!

I would also like to wish my precious daughter-in-law a very Happy 27th Birthday!
