ODBDSLC117 For Michelle

Hi friends. This card is for my dear friend, Michelle Laycock. We started out with a business relationship that evolved to a wonderful friendship to where we talk on the phone all the time. I am very blessed to call Michelle my friend. Michelle has been designing everybody's Stampin' Up! blogs forever but the Lord has led her in a different direction to illustrate stamps for a Christian stamp company. I am so happy for her and excited to see what she comes out with. Michelle has already designed some one of a kind die-cuts that I have the privilege of owning and am so looking forward to breaking them out!

As a congratulations card, I made this for Michelle and am going to get it in the mail to her today, but I'd like to share it with you as well. I got out some oldies but goodies crafty things and just stamped for fun even though I'm really, really behind on everything around here.

I hope that you enjoy this card and that it provides you with some inspiration. I'll be finishing up my July Club Kits this weekend and immediately starting on August. God bless you and have a great day.

  1. Beautiful card Cindy…I love the bright cheery colours you used, and the butterfly adds the perfect touch!!
    Hugs

  2. Cindy, this card is gorgeous! I have it right here in person and I love how you did the twine and the ribbons! WOW. I really must try that technique you did with the twine. How did you do that with the twine? Did you curl it around your fingers first before attaching so that it would be in a loop like that? Also, people who make bows all perfect like that are envied by me! Your bow is perfect!!! I want to learn to make bows like that. How long did it take you to practice your bows before you could get them perfect?
God's blessings to you Cindy, and I'm glad you are looking forward to a new beginning, yourself.
    🙂
